We did so many DIY paper art work for this event..everything arty was hand drawn and printed from scratch!

Remember our ex intern Hilda?

Johanna from Ownmuse made me a custom made matching bracelet for my dress! And this dress took us a month to bead with more than 10 differents beads and pearls. Jo, Shuang, Michelle are the angels of my dress as they helped me so much and we were even beading the night before the wedding.

My evening dress was inspired by my favourite movie "An affair to remember" and I totally heart every part of it!

Mathilda sang the most beautiful song "La Vie En Rose" by Edith Piaf for us.

My hero shared a story of how he may not be my shiny knight but can be the horse that carries the princess...awww..

The best dance of the night was with my dad.

All cheers to all our guests for being so sporting in donning on our king and queen paper crowns!

Just received the pictures of our pre wedding shoot and boy are they lovely! Having never wanted a shoot to this was just pure fun:) I guess the best part of it all were all the props, outfits and laughter we shared with nature love.

Ha..I made him do a proposal pose so I'll never forget this moment with a rock candy ring:)

We spent the whole day just running, jumping, flying the kites, posing and doing silly faces!

And my proudest moment was wearing my own self made "minnie mouse" bow veil with such joy! This has to be my favourite picture out of 230 shots Gina took of us!

This shoot cannot be possible without enchanting Phuket, Gina Smith a brilliant New Zealand photographer based in Phuket and my two very stunning make up artists:) Will get their names real soon!

For our Nation’s Birthday, all of us at CHALK would like to wish Singapore

a prosperous and happy birthday!

We have specially come up with a limited edition T-shirt to celebrate this joyous occasion. Inspired by the traditional costume of the Peranakan, we created a modern twist to the Baju Panjang by focusing on the delicate lace trimmings of the costume and creating a new art work onto a basic tee.

Sourcing the lace was quite an experience as we sought our Peranakan friends for help and we managed to snag a vintage lace from an aunt who collects laces and trims to decorate her Baju Panjang. The pairing of old and new is what we wish for Singapore, to always be on the forefront for all things new and that we will never forget how we reach where we are today with the help of our forefathers!

If you realized things have been quiet here..that's cause I went to Melbourne:) And boy was it a really great trip with so much art to admire, I particularly love this painting at a winery we went in Yarra Valley!

Food was consistently so awesome, I have to admit I gain some chubs!

Imagine my joy when I spotted Rob Ryan works and bought so many of his cards just to ogle at the beautiful cutouts!

Soaked in the wintery chilly cold breeze with stunning winter blossoms..

Went for wine tasting and cheese loving trip to Yarra Valley!

And we just can't stop eating and drinking and almost getting drunk!

And went totally gawked over this insanely intelligent design from Vienna in the late 1980s

To visiting so many opt shops and bazaars filled with vintage fabrics, lights, furniture, suitcases to posters! Gosh I'm still piecing all the wonderful ideas and penning them down before my holiday memories are gone..

It's time again for us to grow our team and we're currently in a hunt for Full Time/Part Time Fashion Retail Advisors at our new space at TANGS ORCHARD and TANGS VIVOCITY this coming August! We're seeking passionate and hardworking retail advisors to share our great love for good fashion and great taste!

Job scope:

- Responsible for store activities

- Stock take and price tagging

- Visual display and planning of stock placement

- Actively promote both the brand and product

- Communicate fluently and earnestly with customers

- Up to date with fashion trends

- Manages sales to ensure full customer satisfaction

- Work closely with management on any updates given by customers or store front

Requirements:

Singaporean and PRS welcome to apply.

Minimum "O-level" or equivalent

At least 1 year retail experience required.

Able to work rotated shift.

Full time to commit for at least 1 year.
