Fantastic Faz

Faz from The Drama Diaries came by this afternoon and we chatted over everything random and fun and she totally made my day when she tried on Florence Blue Dress and look super uber sexy and fun in it, it's like a mini dress on her as she is very tall! To my surprise, she blogged about her shopping experience with us and we're super thankful for her sweet post found on her fantastic blog!

Ivy Envy

Ivy came in pointing towards Betty our mannequin and told me she wanted the entire ensemble ! Not only does she look great in the design, she paired it with some hot red lips and as I am typing this, she is heading towards Suntec for the New Paper Face 2010 contest! Ah..she is definitely a winner with her killer smile, envy tall height and her bubbly great personality! And of course we're beyond flattered she is dressed to the nines in our designs for the audition:)

Friends of Chalk

That's me and Hilda a few hours earlier at the Nafa Diploma Graduate Showcase where we got invited to as guest designer to showcase 20 designs:) Really have to thank her for all the running, sweating, steaming and help she sweetly offered!

And here I am with Cyndi wearing Francesa White Dress rocking the look with her very vintage looking LV purse! As you can see, the red lips is now a constant makeup fixture:)

And lastly the ever cheerful and chatty Jinyyin and KC who always have so many wonderful things to share! She came down to support me at the show wearing Carmen Black Dress:)

Meet Mathilda!

Mathilda from Symphony 92.4 and Stella from Rupture is giving CHALK a really cool opportunity to design the outfits for her first music video- A sneak peek of the song sang live by her! We can't wait to dress her up and that's me looking really funny as we were sharing ideas! The video should be out by end of June! Exciting!!!:)

And Stella the producer of this video have the cutest and most perfect sock hair! You didn't read wrongly, she uses socks to create this look!

Day Out at Blue Print Emporium

Me, Johanna, Rayson from L'ile aux Ashby and Pei Ren from Ready Made before we walk to Pit building! I love Ready Made charlie chaplin duckie, a must touch when you step into her shop!

Sue Ann looking so wonderful in Francesa Black top and Carrie Black Skirt and I'm in Tanya Dress and Mango feather vest with vintage belt! Niki from Straits Times online tweeted she like her outfit at the event!

And that's Sarah from WottonCool with her uber cool tassel sliver ring from Hong Kong! It's from Giordano Ladies and thinking of that..I miss Suzanne and Evelyn from Swirl (That trip to GL was so memorable I wont ever forget!Ahaha..)!!

Marchesa Magical Night

Dot from Fashion Nation, Peixian from Miss Glitzy and I dressed to the nines for the coveted Marchesa Fashion show just a few hours ago! She is looking really sweet in Francesa black top and Carmen cream skirt and I'm in Sally Nude dress with vintage accessories and a chloe bag and of course that sleek looking invitation card!

And I bumped into Daphne from Elle Magazine looking really pretty as usual and I totally dig her yellow shoes:)

And Xwen from Fash Eccentric is looking really stylish in her BCBG long maxi gown! Stunning as ever she is with her really cool oriental inspired clutch bag!

And Nicole from Cherry Magazine in a smartly crisp shirt and sky high heels she can't wait to get out off! Ha..

And we spotted celebrities like Joi Chua and the very awesome Keith Png in his creation! I say it's looks soooo gorgeous:) All the cameras were flashing non stop!

And finally the Marchesa show begins..

Pardon me as my iphone camera resolution is poor but it's beyond a dream to see the magnificent gowns in real life and swaying so gracefully! Awwwww...what a beautiful end to a fairy tale night!

Sweet Moments

Rain who showered me with Easter egg just a few weeks back came by today and this time she surprised me with chocolate macaroons from Bakerzin ! Ahhhhh I am beyond touched, grateful and speechless. And she is looking really sweet here in Carmen black skirt and I'm in Francesa black dress with the sweet goodies from her in my hand.

To rain: "You totally made my day and thanks so much, please just come by whenever you're free to chat with me and please no more gifts! My turn to shower you with goodies!!!"

3 Power Ladies

We're so thrilled when Serene, June and Genevieve from To The Nines came by dressed in our designs and looking so fabulous and gorgeous after attending the Blueprint show at the Pit building. Here, Gen is dressed in Ownmuse cut out cropped top with Desmond Yang tube dress with the very sweet Johanna.

And Mae so badly wanted a picture with Serene who was wearing a gorgeous black ensemble by her but Serene was camera shy. You have to visit Serene at her shop to catch her stylish dress up!

And of course June who looks way lovely in Dotti Grey dress!

Two Men with a Vision

Alex and Shangqian (SQ) from Coupe Cousu as we lovingly call them are the next generation of talented menswear designer in the market now filling the gap for really crisp, well tailored shirts and pants! I especially love their white shirts (Hot Seller!!) and their colour block cardigans! Not only are they really down to earth in person, they took a bold step out of their banking and accounting careers to pursue their love in fashion!

But I must say I am most impressed with their new blog, it's chic and info packed for the New man of today!

Meet Miss Glitzy and Dot!

Miss Glitzy and Dot from Fashion Nation came by our shop earlier on! We are so thrilled as Dot will be wearing some of our creations for Audi Fashion Festival:) Here she is in Francesa white dress and me in Carrie white skirt. I have to gush that Miss Glitzy is really very tall and way lovely in person too!!

Sing-a-Thon

After a hard day at work, almost all of us went for a singing swinging gathering at Kbox! And boy was it fun as the younger ones sang Kpop songs which I had no idea and we oldies starting to sway to spice girls and backstreet boys and of course some chinese pop too! I think this will be a frequent event for all of us to unwind and sing out loud!

It's Jo's Bdae and we decided to surprise her with a little mini cheer, melted ice cream and a mini slice cake to say how much we adore her:)

Another Day..

Miss Moustache

Johanna and me squealed in delight when we saw Larry's from SUNDAYS new brooch!!! And we decided to fool around again! Ahahhaa..

She is an angel!

If there is one designer that I must learn from! It's Jacqueline from Angelicious Creation because she is simply too capable and so pretty and down to earth despite her success!

And Clarence her business partner was way sweet to shoot my shop and both of them gave me

so many tips on how to run a business!

Meet Veliani and Veliana!

As an only child, I always dream of having a sibling and when I finally met Veliani twin sister I wished I had another adorable sister like her! Both of them are as cute as a button and their cheeks are so pinch-able!

Yilin and Me

After attending my friend's wedding, I came back to the store and was chatting with Yilin from Yumumu! Her designs are really clever and she is a really confident and talented designer:) It's great to catch up with her as I've known her since my days at Swirl.

Cool Chick

Sharon from Soon Lee came by my shop earlier on with so many wonderful sharing and her famous cheery smiles! I really can't thank her enough for supporting me ever since I started! I can't wait to see her new shop:) And she told me she saw someone wearing our designs in town in the afternoon too!!
